More heating options in rooms would be helpful.

Cozy atmosphere, beautiful decor, wood-burning stoves
More attention needed to heating in rooms!!! Clear communication about overnight staff availability would be beneficial!!! Consider providing an emergency contact number that actually works, especially for more isolated bookings!!!

Comfortable Stay in a Charming Atmosphere
I recently enjoyed a restful two-night stay in a beautifully decorated twin room that really captured the cozy pub vibe. The local cuisine was a delight, especially the mini Greek chicken kebabs, which were a true highlight. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect retreat, although I wished for more heating options in the room to enhance comfort during the night.

Lovely stay with tasty food!
I had a fab time here for 1 night. Clean and quiet room, and the best part? The bar was great! I tried the fish and chips, and wow, so good! The only bummer was that the Wi-Fi was kinda slow. Would've loved to stream my shows.

The vibe at Chequers is cozy, and the dog-friendly rooms are a real bonus. You can't go wrong with a tasty cocktail in hand while enjoying the pub's ambiance.
Bummer about the food. the bed felt a bit snug, and the mezze was a letdown. The foccacia was stale, and the vegetarian burger was a sad sight served with cold fries.
